Got the unit in Mondays mail as promised. Opened the package and
installed the software, gave a quick look at the manual, then took it
out to the car and hooked it all up. I would say 20 minutes total time
from receiving it and reading the codes in the car. I had a
bunch of codes but figure they are all related so I reset everything and
am now waiting on the next code to appear so I will know where to start.
Couldn't be easier AND I am 73, which is the age where it is difficult

I can't find a place to send positive feedback on your web site, so here
it is. I purchased the OBDCOM when my 2004 Chevy pickup was
experiencing the dreaded check engine light problem. A mechanic
said it could be one of several problems and would take a while to
diagnose. I purchased the OBDCOM and got a single code, looked it
up, then found info on the web that the breather filter for the fuel
tank fill was the most likely culprit, and was a common problem for my
year vehicle. My wifes 2006 Chrysler showed an Engine light and
the problem was quickly fixed. I keep the unit with me at the fire
station, the guys have used it to diagnose problems and even our
mechanic has borrowed it to run diagnostics on the Executive vehicles.
This tool is fantastic, easy to use, easy to look up service codes and
narrows the problem down quickly. Thanks for this great product. If
you ever do a commercial I will be one of those who says the product is

Thank you guys for creating a tool and software that simply WORK!!!
I got mine 3 days after ordering and of course had to play with it right
away. I grabbed the laptop and headed for the garage. Software installed
in no time at all. Took a second to find my port (under the dashboard,
behind a flip cover) but once I connected it, switched the key to run
position and clicked "connect", my car and I were of the same mind!!
NICE!! My check engine light came on because my gas cap was loose.
Replaced the gas cap, cleared the fault and I was good to go. It's
really nice knowing what's going on with your car as opposed to

reset it to see if it returns. Hopefully it was just a one-time thing,

Within one week I developed a miss in my 2001 Crown Vic... I plugged
in the unit and my laptop. The single code PO305 was a misfire in cylinder
number 5. I was certain the plug was good, there are no plug wires so I
took a shot at replacing the coil pack. (This Ford has one per cylinder).
I suspected the coil but had no idea which one.
Got it on the first try and I am a 64 year back yard mechanic that lost
track of cars parts a long time ago. For the first time in many years, I
was able to diagnose and repair a problem on my own. It paid
for itself in one use!! It was easy to use and I really like the gauge
displays, the make me remember the old days, love analog!!
Showed the unit to my brother, a full time real life mechanic, and he was so
impressed he was going to get one for home. Generic and factory codes, plus
real time, were wow factors for him. Thanks for a terrific product.

My short story is my 17-year old son has been driving a 1998 Ford Contour
with 140,000 miles. After paying a garage $700 for a fuel pump and $500 for
radiator work the car continued to give us problems with rough idleing,
overheating, stalling, check engine lights and finally began to throw the
serpentine belt due to all of the above. Frustration with this (what i
thought was a blown head gasket, bad rings etc.) set in and I let the car
sit for two months until I started checking the internet with possible
solutions. Some how, through a random search on the internet, your
product popped up. (I credit that to an act of God :). I ordered it and
recieved it two days later.
After installing the software with ease and
reading the 5 codes that it read, I discovered and replaced a bad valve
cover gasket, spark plug and wires and of all things, the battery.
To my amazement, I cleared the codes and the car
has been running great for 5 days now.
What a great product!! Me and my son Thank You
and your employees for a GREAT product. It probably saved me another $700

hundreds of dollars. I had a problem with both my vehicles which is what
prompted me to order your product. The repair shops wanted a $90.00
diagnostic fee for each one, not to mention the cost of repairs. I
diagnosed one problem as a defective intake air temp sensor ($7.56) and the
issue with the other vehicle was diagnosed as a bad camshaft position sensor
($55.43). Both vehicles now run perfectly. These two repairs
combined would have cost me over $500.00 at the dealership service
department. Your system is far superior to conventional hand held code
readers. Your software actually provides enough information to form logical
conclusions for diagnosis. Great Product at a very reasonable price.

ford escort and came up with 5 codes. I erased the codes and rescaned
the engine codes and a valid code came up. O2 heater, that is one so far and
to me it has paid for itself now. Now I just can put the money I would

product. When a check engine light appeared about two weeks after $360
dollar repair, I just hooked up the OBDCOM unit up to my Tundra and found
that an O2 sensor had been slow in starting. I could see from the live
action screen that it was functioning normally. I was able to clear
the light with the OBDCOM and it has stayed clear. The unit has already paid
for itself. No more guessing as to what a check engine light means and
no more paying almost $100 at the garage to find out. Obviously I highly
recommend your product.

Subject: FIXED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I fixed it today. The culprit was the PVC hose elbow at the air gas intake
manifold, $8 fix.
Anyway I just wanted to say: Thank You for all your support! I am
glad I decided to buy your OBDCOM system. It was so easy to use and I
found out what I needed to trouble shoot the problem.
And Of course your personal support it the worlds best!!! I could not
believe how fast you responded to my emails and the information you gave me,
advice and the links to the sites and clubs sites. That helped a lot!
But the OBDCOM software is so cool. I love the gages so much. I feel like a kid
playing around with them . Anyway if you need a referral of any kind I would be
honored to pass it on to anybody that needs to find the most user friendly
software and the best support in the OBD2 market. I was amazed at the
price too! It's very reasonable for all the bells and whistles you get.

I tried this and it worked without a hitch. I
plugged in the interface and Windows told me it was installing new hardware,
then that it had been installed successfully. I took the laptop out to my
truck, plugged it in and fired up the software. It all works!

went out to the cars and used it no problem!! Easiest software package I

I run Vista and the software loaded without a hitch.
I have a F150 which was missing. Plugged in OBDCOM as instructed and
found that the misfire was on cylinder #1 caused by an ignition coil.
Within 45 minutes had a new part ($34.00) and replaced it. Problem
solved. My mechanic has charged me $150.00 for the same replacement in
the past. This thing has already paid for itself.

Pretty sure I saved the price of this tool in the first hour of use.
Discovered that a sensor was unplugged by the last garage that serviced
the vehicle. Had to be intentional as they had no business being near
the MAF sensor. I want to thank you for a great tool at a great
