OBDTool works on 1996 to 2006 VW and Audi cars with an OBD2 diagnostic connector.  It also works on Seat and Skoda models.

Please note, it does NOT work on the following vehicles because they use the CAN network:

Look for this connector in your car:

1996 or newer Volkswagens & Audis have this connector (see picture).  The color of the connector does not matter.  To make sure your car is compatible, just look for this connector, and make sure it is not in the list above.  It is usually located under the dash on the drivers side (near the pedals), or next to the ashtray behind a small sliding door.  Sometimes it is located in the rear ashtray, or under a cover between the front seats.  		   

Version 2 and Version 1 OBDTool differences
  • Version 2 Works on 1996 to 2006 VW and Audi cars, PLUS supports 2002+ Audi models with "Dual K Lines."
  • Version 1 works on 1996 to 2006 VW and Audi cars, except 2002 and later Audis which require "Dual K Lines".
    For those cars, use Version 2
